With a Civic Trust guide, visit the underground chamber that contains the remains of a section of the Roman wall and a 13th century defensive tower. The Bastion is located under a trapdoor in the King’s Walk Shopping Centre.
Tours start at 10.30, 11.10, 11.50, 12.30, 13.10, 13.50, 14.30, 15.10, 15.50.
Booking is essential
Meet by the entrance in King’s Walk Shopping Centre, Gloucester GL1 1EA (by the silver trap doors, just outside Superdrug). The tour lasts approx. 30 mins.
Tickets £8 for adults, £5.50 for children (maximum 14 per tour).
Please note: Not accessible by wheelchair or suitable for those with mobility issues . Please wear footwear suitable for uneven surfaces (no heels/open shoes)
